Huntington Public Library Adult Reading Challenge

 Excellent. A woman buys an island to retreat and heal alone, but things go wrong at government research at next island.

 While not a sequel, Stacey Abrams continues to demonstrate her ability to create an interesting plot with many twists and surprises. The story centers around Avery Keene, a Supreme Court Clerk, introduced in Abrams' previous novel, "While Justice Sleeps." Several of the other characters also re-appear, but the story lines continue to evolve in new directions. I enjoy Ms. Abrams writing style and recommend this book.
