Huntington Public Library Adult Reading Challenge

 A young Danish journalist is in trouble at work. One of her informants gave her a bad tip that turned into a fiasco for the newspaper.  Once you start the book it is tough to put it down!  

  Nordic Noir at it’s absolute finest. Rampant distrust and violence in the life of a hit man, but somehow love filters through.

  Drug dealer wanted by a crime lord flees way north and finds more that he expected.

  Very mediocre Nordic noir. Crime drama and detective work involving a series of murders in northern Sweden.  The translation from Swedish to English was highly disappointing.

  An quick interesting Icelandic mystery. Four friends go out on hunt for birds in the Highlands of Iceland. Snowstorm blows up and they find themselves in a hut...with a stranger with a gun inside. Who is he? More importantly who are these 4 friends really. Good quick read. I happen to like this author a lot. Not his best but a good beach read.
