 This novel had a very interesting story: one day, every adult around the globe receives a box containing a string that indicate the length of their life. I enjoyed the tale, though I wasn't so impressed with the actual writing style.

  Christmas at the Nantucket Restaurant is a "feel good" story about three sisters (and Paul Taylor, their chef), who inherit "Mimi's Place" from their grandmother who stipulated that they run it together for one year before deciding what to do with it. Mandy, Emma and Jill with Paul, Emma's old flame and Bill, Jill's husband all found themselves appropriate jobs running Mimi's Place over Christmas. The holiday traditions on Nantucket, the good deeds for, by and with their patrons and neighbors, and the delicious menus mentioned made for a prosperous Mimi's Place and a festive, enjoyable, fun Christmas read!
