The Last Bookshop in London by Madeline Martin

London is preparing for war in 1939 as Hitler's forces sweep across Europe. Grace Bennett just moves to London, not expecting to see bunkers and drawn curtains. She moves in with her mother's dear friend while she looks for work. She gets a job at Primrose Hill Bookshop in the heart of London. During the blackouts and air raids, Grace discovers the power of storytelling to unite her community.
