The Mothers by Brit Bennett

This book really surprised me. I wasn't sure I would like the characters as much as I did, but I really connected with them. Their flaws felt real and the characters were therefore relatable. Some of the jumps in time were a bit inconsistent, but this was overall a gripping read.
