Alone with You in the Ether by Olivie Blake

Alone With You in the Ether is a beautifully written book that touched me on many different levels. While it says "love story" on the cover, this is a very nontraditional love story between two neurodivergent people living very different lives in Chicago. Blake's writing style is poetic at times, and the details she accentuates in each scene bring the setting to life. The book weaves mental health struggles and traumatic experiences into the story seamlessly, adding another layer of depth into an already multi-dimensional story. Anyone that is looking for a love story that doesn't follow the status quo will devour this book up, just as I did.
