My Friends by Fredrik Backman

 This a sweet story of a girl who is all alone in the world and whose life changes when she meets a stranger in an alley. It is inspiring and heartwarming but also very funny! The main characters are both sad and lonely but help each other in so many ways. I'm a big fan of this author and this book is one of his best.

 This was a fun twist on following up with Dorothy after Oz. It had some psychological twists and turns, nothing fantastical, just how she was considered crazy and the townsfolk held their high moral principles and secrets. It tied up nicely at the end. I liked it! Good story!
