The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian by Sherman Alexie

 I re-read this book just now, August 2025, and it was still a humorous and heartbreaking insider view into another culture. I took away a star from my previous rating, because it felt slightly dated to me now, but definitely a worthwhile read if taken with a grain of salt.

 This was a fun twist on following up with Dorothy after Oz. It had some psychological twists and turns, nothing fantastical, just how she was considered crazy and the townsfolk held their high moral principles and secrets. It tied up nicely at the end. I liked it! Good story!
