How to Read a Book by Monica Wood
The most captivating part of this book was the women’s book club in the prison. Fascinating, heartbreaking stories of how they ended up there. No judgement. The support and comraderie of the women was heartwarming and powerful. The story then turns to the equally engaging environment of the bookstore and its wonderful, quirky staff. Throughout the book, characters explore the possibity of forgiveness. The second half of the book seemed hurried and some plot elements were implausible, but overall a very enjoyable and thought provoking read.
